the Drop Basket

This new addition to our 50’ basket series is a larger version of our Large Pencil Bucket. It's a round bottom basket with a loop for hanging, styled after the classic onion baskets made by the Shakers.

This vessel is made from 50 feet of #6-sized 100% cotton cord that is coiled and stitched with sewing thread. The resulting textile is flexible but stiff enough to hold its shape. Available in a variety of colorways.
