Designed Tomoe Matsuoka, this 8.5" diameter trivet with a small loop handle is made from #6 100% cotton sash cord and poly sewing thread. It is not flame resistant or retardant but it can take some serious warmth. We use them like big coasters around our home - they fit perfectly under our tea pots.
